A varied selection of my photographs taken for Dublin Culture Connects now feature in an Alight! publication and flyer, which will be found in citywide public libraries.
The book was created in the South East area of Dublin in a partnership between Dublin Culture Connects, city-wide community groups, the City Arts Office, Dublin Public Libraries, The National Gallery of Ireland, Dublin City Gallery The Hugh Lane, and South East Area Office, artists and CoisCéim Broadreach as part of the National Neighbourhood project in the South East Area.
This book is full of stories, drawings by the students of St. Patrick's National School, participants from Riccy's Youth Café, The GALS Group, Betty Watson Active Retirement Group, Greenore Court Arts & Crafts Group, Ringsend Community Services Forum, Pembroke Library, Ringsend Active Retirement Group, Ringsend Irishtown Community Centre, Ringsend College, St. Andrew's Resource Centre, Sandymount Tidy Towns, Sandymount Sikh Community, and Talk About Youth, who all connected together through workshops, trips on the Alight! Bus to the project's cultural partners, the Mystery History Cabaret and the Valentine's Tea Dance.
