One of my all-time favourite albums is Frontier Ruckus' Deadmalls and Nightfalls from 2010. This was their second full length studio release. I have seen them 3 times in Kilkenny (Ryans x2 and Cleere's, Kilkenny), and love the imagery and sound of Detroit native Matthew Milia's portrayal of American suburbia; The strip-malls, car dealerships and fast-food drive-throughs accompanied by banjos trumpet and a saw. Amazing lyrics and beautiful music. Now four albums in as of 2014 but Deadmall and Nightfalls is one of those albums that I constantly go back to.
