Tonight saw Jerry Dammers (The Specials, 2 Tone Records) back in the Thomas House to DJ the basement. Last time he blew the roof off the place, spinning Jamaican music and its influences from the Islands to his home town of Coventry. Brought to us by Polly Love/Mash it Up, with support from Mash It Up DJs Shane Walsh and Loic L'Herrou.
The night was also a chance to catch up with pal Gary Day ( Morrissey/New York Dolls and more) who was back in the upstairs DJ booth with the best of blues and rock & roll for the first of his two night stint.
