Annual General Meeting 2005 in Limerick

HSE Accountability

There is a lack of accountability in the HSE with only the Dáil as a forum to raise health matters. Dungarvan GP Dr Jim Stacey stated that “Some public input should be in place and it is not there at the moment.” A motion was passed at the AGM calling for local health forums or committees to advise the HSE on health matters.
